Message from the Administrator
Welcome to the Health Resources and Services
Administration (HRSA), where we are proudly celebrating
our 25th anniversary year.
Since its creation on September 1, 1982, HRSA
has worked to improve the health and well-being
of our Nation. We have helped to build a strong
foundation of high-quality health care throughout
the country that supports our most vulnerable
citizens.
Today, HRSA's programs and services benefit more
than 20 million people every year —
most of whom lack other sources of care. For these
individuals, HRSA is a lifeline that offers hope
as well as better health.
HRSA's accomplishments over the past 25 years
would not have been possible without the hard
work and commitment of HRSA's employees and our
many partners. As we reflect on the past 25 years
and look forward to the next 25, we acknowledge
and thank all of these dedicated individuals for
helping us reach this significant milestone.
