Performance Analysis -Rural health

Health Policy (ORHP), encompass several
distinct programmatic activities, including
Rural Health Policy Development, Rural
Health Care Services Outreach Grants,
Rural and Community Access to Emergency
Devices, Rural Hospital Flexibility Grants,
State Offices of Rural Health, and Denali
Commission projects. Because of their
shared purpose, these programs were assessed
together using the Program Assessment

| Increase
by 1 percent annually the number of
people served through Outreach grants. |
ORHP has met this
performance goal for five of
the past six years. . |
This performance goal
refers
to the total number of rural residents
served by Outreach grants. The focus
of these grants is determined by the
community and therefore these grants
support a wide range of activities
to increase access to health care
services. The common measure that
cuts across these activities is the
number of people served. |
