Figure 5B-Specialist Physician Supply in Patient Care Under Various Reductions in Physician Output

This set of graphs compare physician specialist requirements of COGME to projections of supply in which resident output is varied from 140 to 110 percent of US medical school graduates while maintaining the current specialty mix. Specialist supply continues to remain well above the upper limit of the requirement range under all scenarios.
