The meeting included presentations and discussions on the the role of nursing in primary care and implications for workforce. Participants also identified possible areas for recommendations to include in the upcoming report to Congress. 

The Friday meeting included an update on the programs and activities of the Division of Nursing and culminated with the planning and development of the agenda for the next meeting, as well as an opportunity for public comment.
