National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice

November 18-19, 2010, Rockville, Maryland

The meeting included presentations on diversity in the health care workforce, specifically in nurse education and practice. Council members and participants also discussed the recommendations presented in the NACNEP 8th Report on Addressing New Challenges Facing Nursing Education and the IOM Report on The Future of Nursing.

Day two included the planning and development of the agenda for the next meeting and a discussion, as well as an opportunity for public comment.
