This meeting included a discussion of the Deficit Reduction Act (DRA) and its impact on maternal and child health programs as well as provisions that affect providers working to reduce infant mortality. Also discussed was HRSA’s Perinatal and Patient Safety Pilot Collaborative.

Subcommittees submitted their reports and recommendations on the first day. The Committee discussed and voted on the subcommittees’ recommendations on the second day. There were no public comments.
