The National Advisory Committee (NAC) on Rural Health and Human Services advises the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services on the provision and financing of health care services in rural areas.
Note: Some of the items included on this page reflect the Committee’s past charge to focus specifically on rural health. Beginning in March of 2003, the Committee expanded its focus to include rural human service issues.
