Are there any initiatives to support pediatric oral health and the use of health IT?  What funding opportunities are available?

Currently, there are several pediatric oral health initiatives that are addressing and supporting the use of health IT.  The Children’s Dental Health Fund exit disclaimer and the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Oral Health Initiative exit disclaimer represent prominent organizations focusing on this area. There are various places to search for funding opportunities for the advancement of health IT within the context of pediatric oral health.  Listed in the related resources section are Web sites providing information about funding opportunities within these and other organizations.
