Implementation

After selecting a vendor for an electronic-prescribing system, the next step is implementation. This section of the toolbox details some of the planning and communication issues to consider when implementing an e-prescribing software system in a medical practice. Much of the available information in this section of the toolbox refer to implementing EHRs, many of the implementation considerations for e-prescribing and EHRs are very similar so the information is applicable for both situations.
