How do I get support from senior management?

Building buy-in for change requires getting approval from senior management, staff at all levels, and even patients. Successful health IT implementations require strong executive support throughout the duration of the project. There are various strategies that can be used to get buy-in from senior management. For example: 1) involve senior leadership early, 2) identify a physician or system champion, 3) ensure that senior leadership is in agreement regarding the potential benefits of implementing a new system and 4) ensure that they remain actively involved throughout the duration of the project.
