Are there any open-source PHRs available?
Several free open-source PHRs exist, one of the most popular being Indivo (formerly known as PING). Indivo is a web-based PHR that is built to public standards. However, unlike most PHRs, Indivo is open source, meaning that all its design concepts and technical documents are freely available to the public. The Indivo software features strong data security and authentication controls and is aimed at being interoperable with other PHR systems. Other open source PHRs include Tolven Healthcare, an application written in Java script and FreeMED.
