Are PHRs CCHIT certified?

The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT), a recognized certification body for EHRs and their networks, has announced its plans to certify PHRs by 2010. A workgroup has been assembled and charged with the task of drafting the certification criteria. The criteria will place an emphasis on privacy safeguards while also addressing security and interoperability issues.
