What is HRSA’s Vision for QI?

The purpose of QI within HRSA programs or HRSA health service delivery programs is to ensure patients served by HRSA-supported facilities receive the care they need when they need it.

As a part of HRSA strategic goal and plans, HRSA seeks to improve the quality of health care by promoting effectiveness of health care services, promoting patient safety and improving patient protections, promoting access to and appropriate use of health care information, and promoting the implementation of evidence-based methodologies and best practices.
