What Go-Live support would be required?
As part of the go-live planning, a health center should determine what additional resources will be required to support the activation of their clinical system. Although the vendor will normally provide some support during the go-live, specific details regarding this process should be outlined during the contract negotiation phase. In addition to vendor support, health center staff may need to assist with training, work out process issues and deal with any unexpected technical glitches. The plan developed for the go-live should include a schedule that ensures that different resources and are available throughout the process.
