What are the key components that need to be included in vendor contracts?

There are numerous standard provisions that need to be included in the contract, most notably: licensing terms, payment terms, testing, training, service-level agreements and system availability, maintenance terms, regulatory provisions and termination clauses. The resources below include contracting guidelines and sample vendor contracts.

Sample vendor contracts:
