DRAFT VISION STATEMENTS

INDIANA

To end chronic homelessness in Indiana.

KANSAS

To end chronic homelessness in Kansas.

MASSACHUSETTS

To end chronic homelessness in Massachusetts by implementing comprehensive policies and programs that prevent homelessness, ensure coordination, collaboration and access across mainstream systems, and expand permanent housing resources and opportunities for extremely low-income people.

MONTANA

Our vision is to provide the state-level leadership and coordinated effort that will end chronic homelessness by 2010.

NEW JERSEY

New Jersey’s vision is that every person has access to safe, decent, and affordable housing with comprehensive services that result in self-sufficiency and well-being.

PENNSYLVANIA

We envision a Pennsylvania in which there are no homeless people. Each person will have the support services needed to live as independently as possible in permanent housing of his or her choice. Housing will be accessible, affordable and integrated in the community. The mainstream services will be adequate, well-coordinated and consumer-driven. All housing and services will be offered with dignity and respect.

RHODE ISLAND

We envision a state where no one is homeless. Every person has appropriate housing and adequate income, and receives effective services.

SOUTH DAKOTA

Create a comprehensive, flexible, individual-based, culturally appropriate, and outcome-based system to provide opportunities for persons who are chronically homeless by maximizing use of existing mainstream resources, improving coordination across service and housing delivery systems, and identifying new resources.

TEXAS

People experiencing homelessness receive housing, employment opportunities, and support services they need to become independent and productive community members.

UTAH

Reduce homelessness statewide through an integrated, holistic caring system.
