HRSA has established a Council on Employees with Disabilities (CED) to assist in cultivating an inclusive workplace climate that enables each employee to participate fully in helping HRSA realize its mission. The CED was established to recruit, hire, retain, and promote individuals with disabilities and has the strong support of HRSA’s Administrator.
The CED helps to promote equal access for HRSA’s employees with disabilities in all aspects and benefits of employment. It provides advice, guidance, and recommendations regarding HRSA's affirmative action program on employment of individuals with disabilities and other programs affecting HRSA’s employees with disabilities. Any HRSA employee who is impacted by or interested in the needs of those living with disabilities is welcome to join the CED.
