Rural Northern Border Region Healthcare Support Program

We fund this program to provide technical assistance to health care providers and organizations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York. These are the areas the Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC) serves.

What’s the Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC)?

The NBRC is a federal-state partnership for economic and community development.

What Does Our Grantee Do?

The grantee will provide technical assistance in focus areas such as mental health, behavioral health and substance abuse, workforce recruitment and retention, value-based care efforts, health equity, and other general needs.

This grantee will also help providers and organizations prioritize health issues, identify funding sources, and assist in grant applications and strategic plans that will help increase capacity.
