Death Benefits for Child Survivors

Child is defined as a natural or adopted child who is 18 or younger, 19-23 and a full-time student, or a child of any age who is legally incompetent.

Legal guardians of children under 18 can chose between one of two methods of calculations (Standard Calculation or Alternative Calculation) for death benefits, both of which will be displayed for comparison. The payment is made to the legal guardian.
