Training Grant Programs

Area Health Education Centers Schools of medicine and nursing receive HRSA grant funding to train students in community-based settings in rural and other underserved areas. 

Public Health Training Centers Schools of public health receive HRSA cooperative agreement funding to provide targeted training in preventive medicine, health promotion and disease prevention and improve access to care in medically underserved communities.

Maternal and Child Health Training Program Schools receive grant funding to provide training and education to those working in maternal and child health professions. 

AIDS Education and Training Centers Schools receive HRSA grant funding to conduct targeted, multidisciplinary education and training programs for health care providers treating people living with HIV/AIDS.
