Your role is also the same in both Guides. It is to:

• Review the answers that the patient gives to the Getting Started assessment questions using the Counseling Support Tool

• Complete the My Health Care Visit section. This is only two pages of the Guides. The patient is responsible for the rest

• Make recommendations. The Counseling Support Tool, which we'll discuss later, will help you match your patient's answers to appropriate recommendations

• Assist with goal setting. You can help your patient set goals and also direct her to the back section of the Guide for ideas on how to reach her goals

Now we'll look at a layout of the Guide for Adult Women to show you what the sections look like and how they are used by you and the patient. As mentioned previously, I'll explain how this differs from the Guide for Young Women.
