HRSA also pre-tested the Guide for Young Women and a companion Wallet Card with 26 women, ages 1120, in Baltimore, MD.
Pre-testing of these materials was conducted to determine:

Whether patients would be willing to complete the Guide in a clinical setting

If the materials were easy to follow

If the materials were easy to read and were at an appropriate reading level

If the Guide was considered useful in terms of learning about their physical activity and eating behaviors, talking with providers, and making changes to behaviors

If the format and design of the materials were appealing
