Biography
Rear Admiral Sarah R. Linde is a Medical Officer in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. She currently serves as HRSA’s Chief Public Health Officer.
Prior to HRSA, Rear Admiral Linde was the Deputy Director of the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion in the Office of Public Health and Science in the Office of the Secretary at HHS. There, she helped oversee national disease prevention and health promotion activities including Healthy People, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, and the Physical Activity Guidelines.
Dr. Linde is board-certified in Family Practice and is a graduate of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences Medical School in Bethesda, Maryland.
