We will only accept one application per state. All states are eligible to apply. If you are a current recipient with a period of performance ending on August 31, 2026, you are eligible to apply.

You will demonstrate eligibility according to 42 U.S.C. § 256e (Section 340E of the PHS Act, as added by P.L. 106-129). Who can apply: You can apply if you are an accredited school of nursing.Any domestic schools of nursing affiliated with this application must be:Accredited at the time of application and for the duration of the award. Accredited by a national or state agency recognized by the Secretary of Education for the purposes of nursing education. You must submit official documentation of accreditation in Attachment 1 for all affiliated nursing programs. Tribes and tribal organizations may be eligible if they own and operate an accredited school of nursing.

Who can apply:

Academic institutions, non-profit organizations including faith-based organizations, and those eligible for funding under Parts A-D of TItle XXVI of the Public Helath Service (PHS) Act as amended by the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009.

Who can apply: Other Eligibility CriteriaDomestic means the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau. Existing award recipients under the FY 2022 TPEC program funding opportunity (HRSA-22-141) whose period of performance ends September 29, 2027, are eligible to apply for funding under this announcement. If funded, the existing FY 2022 TPEC award will be relinquished, and a new award period of performance will begin. If an existing recipient applies but is not awarded funding under this announcement, their FY 2022 TPEC award will continue at the original level of funding through the end of the project period.

The applicant organization must have demonstrated experience serving, or capacity to serve, underserved populations in rural areas. Eligible applicants also include Federal Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Community Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), Hospitals and Rural Emergency Hospitals.For the purposes of the notice,Domestic means the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.
