Parking
Pay-to-park lots and metered street-level parking directly north of the building are available to visitors. All government-owned parking facilities are monitored by the Federal Protective Service.

Lunch
Below are a few dining options inside the Richard Bolling Federal Building and some within a five-minute walk of the Federal Building. Please note, if you choose to leave the building for lunch, you must allow sufficient time for security screening to re-enter the Federal Building.
Aramark Cafeteria
Located on the east side of the ground floor of the Richard Bolling Federal Building, the cafeteria is open weekdays. Breakfast is served from 6 to 9 a.m. and lunch is served from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Cherry Street Café
Located in Room N110 on the first floor of the Richard Bolling Federal Building, the sundry and snack shop is open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Security
The Richard Bolling Federal Building requires a government-issued photo ID for you to enter the building. If you are a U.S. citizen, a driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID from one of the 50 U.S. states is acceptable identification.
Attendees visiting from American Samoa are required to bring an alternate form of government-issued photo ID, such as a passport.
All workshop attendees will undergo 100 percent screening each time they enter the San Francisco Federal Building. Screening consists of x-raying all packages, luggage, or bags, and the use of magnetometers (metal detectors).
To the extent possible, please limit the amount of personal belongings you carry into the workshop. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and can be admitted into the workshop beginning at 8 a.m. on June 26-27.
What items are prohibited?
- Dangerous weapons and explosives, including firearms and ammunition.
- Instruments or material likely to produce substantial injury or damage to persons or property such as knives with a blade of 2.5 inches or longer, club-like items, and striking devices.
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Controlled substances (such as illegal drugs or paraphernalia). This does not include prescription medication.
- Dogs and other animals (identified in 41 CFR 101-20.311), except for service dogs.
- Other items prohibited by law.
