Parking
There are three public parking structures within walking distance to the San Francisco Federal Building:- Liberty Parking - 1064 Mission Street. Enter by 9 am $15; otherwise $20. Outside lot.

From San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
Trains arrive at the SFO International Terminal every 15 minutes and it’s a 30 minute ride to downtown San Francisco. A one-way ticket from SFO to downtown is $9.65.
The BART station at SFO is located in the International Terminal. It's a short walk from United Airlines in Terminal 3 and a slightly longer walk from Terminal 1. You can also take the free AirTrain from all terminals directly to the BART station. Just follow the signs to AirTrain and board the Red Line train to the BART station and purchase your BART ticket.
From SFO, take the Yellow Line toward Antioch and off board at the Civic Center station. Use the Market & 7th Street exit and cross the street toward CVS.
Continue down 7th Street, cross Stevenson and you have arrived at the San Francisco Federal Building - 90 7th Street.
From Oakland International Airport (OAK)
Trains arrive at the Coliseum Station every 6 minutes and it’s a 42 minute ride to downtown San Francisco. A one-way ticket from OAK to downtown is $10.95.
The Oakland Airport BART station is located just across from the Terminal 1 baggage claim area and a short walk from Terminal 2.
Take the sleek, automated people mover from the Oakland International Airport to the Coliseum station; it is a quick eight-minute ride that glides above traffic.
At the Coliseum Station, take a San Francisco/Daly City train and off board at the Civic Center station. Use the Market & 7th Street exit and cross the street toward CVS.
Continue down 7th Street, cross Stevenson and you have arrived at the San Francisco Federal Building - 90 7th Street.

Security
The San Francisco Federal Building requires a government-issued photo ID for you to enter the building. If you are a U.S. citizen, a driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID from one of the 50 U.S. states is acceptable identification.
Attendees visiting from American Samoa are required to bring an alternate form of government-issued photo ID, such as a passport.
All workshop attendees will undergo 100 percent screening each time they enter the San Francisco Federal Building. Screening consists of x-raying all packages, luggage, or bags, and the use of magnetometers (metal detectors).
To the extent possible, please limit the amount of personal belongings you carry into the workshop. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and can be admitted into the workshop beginning at 8 a.m. on Aug. 1-2.
What items are prohibited?

- Instruments or material likely to produce substantial injury or damage to persons or property such as knives with a blade of 2.5 inches or longer, club-like items, and striking devices.
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Controlled substances (such as illegal drugs or paraphernalia). This does not include prescription medication.
- Dogs and other animals (identified in 41 CFR 101-20.311), except for service dogs.
- Other items prohibited by law.
