Registration

Registration Tips Step 1.Check your registration. Search the 340B OPAIS to check your registration status.

Registration Tips Step 2.Be aware of the latest registration dates and deadlines. We list the current registration periods on this page, along with a link to the 340B OPAIS and registration forms. The registration forms are available only during the registration periods.

Registration Tips Step 3.Collect needed information. You will need to supply your Medicaid billing number or National Provider Identifier (if you will be billing Medicaid for drugs purchased at 340B prices), as well as basic information such as your mailing address and point of contact.

We also require your Federal Grant Number during registration. This number is 14 or 16 digits (sample: 1H25PS004661-01), and is not the same as your Notice of Funding Opportunity number.

Note: HRSA's Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA) no longer accepts the "STD-*State*" format as the Federal Grant Number. We will delete your registration if you do not include your Federal Grant Number.

Contact your state or local STD program manager if you are unsure of your number.

Registration Tips Step 4.Identify your Authorizing Official. Only an individual who can bind the organization to a contract, such as a CEO, COO, CFO, clinic administrator, or program manager can submit the 340B on-line registration. You must designate another employee (not consultant or contractor) as the Primary Contact.

Registration Tips Step 5.Prepare to complete in one session. The authorizing official must complete the on-line registration in one session. If left inactive, the session will close and you will need to start over.

Once approved, the Authorizing Official will receive an email. The message will confirm your successful enrollment in the 340B program and will include the date on which you can begin purchasing 340B discounted drugs.

Your message will also contain the 340B identification number that manufacturers, wholesalers and others will use to verify your participation in the 340B program
