We are accepting nominations for voting members to serve as Special Government Employees on ACBSCT. We accept new members on a continuous basis.
Am I eligible?
Advisory Council members include:
- Representatives of marrow donor centers, marrow transplant centers, cord blood banks, and participating birthing hospitals
- Recipients of bone marrow or cord blood transplants
- People who need transplants and their family members
- Family members of patients who have requested help finding an unrelated donor of bone marrow or cord blood
- Experts in bone marrow and cord blood transplantation
- Experts in tissue typing and matching, transplant outcome data analysis, and cord blood processing
- People with backgrounds in the social sciences or bioethics
- Basic scientists with expertise in the biology of adult stem cells
- Hematology and transfusion medicine researchers with expertise in adult blood stem cells
- Members of the general public
