Register Now to Attend the Virtual NACRHHS Meeting from October 25-27

The National Advisory Committee on Health and Human Services will be holding a meeting via webinar from October 25-27. The meeting times are as follows: Monday, October 25, 2021, 12:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time (ET); Tuesday, October 26, 2021, 12:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. ET; Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. ET.

Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting by registering online HRSA Exit Disclaimer by the deadline of 12:00 p.m. ET on October, 24, 2021. Instructions on how to access the meeting via Zoom will be provided upon registration.

Members of the public will have the opportunity to provide comments. Public participants wishing to provide oral comments must submit a written version of their statement at least three business days in advance of the scheduled meeting. Oral comments will be honored in the order they are requested and may be limited as time permits. Public participants wishing to offer a written statement should send it to Steven Hirsch at least three business days prior to the meeting using the contact information at the bottom of this webpage.

The National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services (NACRHHS or the Committee) advises the Secretary of Health and Human Services on health care challenges in rural America.

The Committee is an independent advisory group representing a public-private partnership focused on the provision of health care in rural areas.

The Committee's 21 members serve overlapping four-year terms and have expertise in a wide range of rural health and human services issues.

Former Kansas Governor Jeff Colyer, MD, is the Chair of the Committee.

Nomination Process

The Committee accepts nominations for new members on a rolling basis throughout the year. 

Nominees should have:
• Experience with rural health and/or human service issues;
• An understanding of legislative and regulatory policy environments; and
• Experience working on rural health policy issues at the local, state and regional level
