Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital released from probation

Richmond, Va. – At a meeting June 26, 2019, the OPTN Executive Committee released Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, a transplant hospital located in Milwaukee, Wis., from the status of probation. The OPTN Board of Directors had placed the hospital on probation in June 2017 as a result of quality concerns with its abdominal organ transplantation services. Since then, under OPTN monitoring and guidance, the hospital has completed a rigorous quality improvement initiative to address the issues identified.
