Coronavirus Rural Health Clinic Technical Assistance

The fiscal year (FY) 2021 American Rescue Plan Act (P.L. 117-2) provided funding for COVID-19 testing, contact tracing, and mitigation activities.  The Coronavirus Rural Health Clinic Technical Assistance (COVID TA) recipient provides technical assistance (TA) to Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) and support RHCs and in their implementation of the Rural Health Clinic COVID-19 Testing & Mitigation (RHCCTM) Program.  COVID TA will RHCs maintain and increase COVID-19 testing, COVID-19 mitigation, and COVID-19 related expenses to best address the needs of communities in the RHCs’ service areas and complete associated reporting requirements.

COVID TA activities include webinars and fielding questions from RHCs related to COVID-19 testing programs. Recipient activities involved in conducting webinars include planning, stakeholder outreach, content development, and facilitation. Recipient activities to support RHC questions include providing access to an open, publicly available forum where RHCs can submit questions and discuss and resolve issues.
