Executive Committee (Board of Directors)

The Executive Committee, chaired by the President, continues the work of the Board of Directors without the necessity of convening the entire Board. The Executive Committee considers issues that require action between meetings of the Board of Directors. These actions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Emergency or clarifying policy actions
• OPTN Budget items
• Approval of committee proposals for public comment distribution
• Approval of committee project portfolio
• Urgent member actions (approvals, imminent threat reviews)
• Approval of official OPTN comment on federal issues
