Finance Committee (Board of Directors)

The Finance Committee meets monthly to:

• Review the financial aspects of OPTN policy
• Recommend whether to adjust the waitlist registration fee
• Advise HRSA on the budget and fee for the coming fiscal year
• Use project benefit score and other financial data to make recommendations for project prioritization

The Finance Committee also holds ad hoc meetings when timely financial input is needed. Members are encouraged to observe all Policy Oversight Committee meetings where financial considerations arise, contribute to financial analysis, and provide recommendations. This work helps the Board and HRSA make informed decisions that strengthen the network and maximize its benefit to patients and the transplant community.
