Network Operations Oversight Committee (Board of Directors)

The NOOC reviewed quarterly reports from OPTN contractors to update the Board on OPTN IT system and system performance. Board leadership advised the NOOC on what materials to include in the OPTN contractors' quarterly updates to help the Board assess critical metrics related to the reliability of UNet^SM. The NOOC also contributed to OPTN technology-related policy.

The NOOC was established to meet quarterly, with additional ad hoc meetings as needed for timely input. In addition, NOOC committee members could participate in Policy Oversight Committee meetings where there were IT considerations around newly proposed policies. Members could contribute to the IT analysis and considerations to help advise the Board and HRSA on project costs and prioritization.
