OPTN Management and Membership Policies

  • The OPTN Management and Membership Policies address administrative aspects of the OPTN. They apply to functions such as:

    • The composition of Permanent Standing Committees and OPTN Regions
    • Code of conduct for OPTN volunteers
    • Processes for adoption of OPTN policies
    • Requirements and standards for OPTN membership

    The OPTN Management and Membership Policies address administrative aspects of the OPTN and requirements for OPTN membership.

Prior to July 2024, OPTN management and membership requirements were included in the OPTN Bylaws. The OPTN Board of Directors established these policies in a new, standalone document to better delineate them from bylaws that address OPTN governance.
