The OPTN Board approved the slate of candidates who will appear on the ballot for the election of Secretary and Vice President of Patient and Donor Affairs. The ballot will be open from 9:00 a.m. ET on May 15, 2026, to 11:59 p.m. ET on May 22, 2026. Those elected as Secretary and Vice President of Patient and Donor Affairs will begin their terms on July 1, 2026.
Board Officer candidates’ interest, biographical, and personal statements are available for review on the Board of Directors webpage.
Voting representatives for each member organization, as well as individual members with voting privileges, will be emailed instructions and their ballot on May 15, 2026.
