Announcing Winners of the 2026 OPTN Board Officer Election

The Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) recently concluded its 2026 election for two Board officer positions: Vice President of Patient and Donor Affairs and Secretary to the OPTN Board of Directors. OPTN members with voting privileges were invited to cast their ballots for the slate of candidates during the voting period, which ran from May 15 through May 22, 2026. During the June 5 Ad Hoc Board meeting, the OPTN Board ratified the election results for both officer positions. The newly elected Vice President of Patient and Donor Affairs and Secretary began their terms on July 1, 2026. The results of the election can be found on the OPTN Board of Directors webpage.
