Network Operations Oversight Committee (Board of Directors)

The NOOC will review quarterly reports from OPTN contractors to update the Board on OPTN IT system and system performance. The Board leadership will advise the NOOC on what materials they want the OPTN contractors to include in their quarterly updates for the Board to be able to assess critical metrics to analyze the reliability of UNetSM. The NOOC will be available to be leveraged to contribute to OPTN technology-related policy.

The NOOC will meet quarterly, starting in November. The NOOC also holds ad hoc meetings when timely input is needed. In addition, NOOC committee members can participate in all Policy Oversight Committee meetings where there are IT considerations around newly proposed policies. They can contribute to the IT analysis and considerations to help advise the Board and HRSA on project costs and prioritization.
