Vascularized Composite Allograft Transplantation Committee

The Vascularized Composite Allograft Transplantation (VCA) Committee considers medical, scientific, and ethical aspects related to VCA allocation, procurement, distribution, and transplantation. The Committee considers both the broad implications and the specific member situations related to VCA issues and policies. The goals of the Committee's work are to improve access to VCA transplantation, to develop evidence-based policies for allocating VCAs, and to improve the health outcomes of VCA transplant recipients.
