The Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) is pleased to announce two virtual National Town Hall meetings for members of the community and the public. Sessions will be held April 28 at 4:00 p.m. ET and May 13 at 3:00 p.m. ET. These town halls will provide updates on the current state of the OPTN, as well as ongoing modernization efforts to strengthen the system and improve patient outcomes.
Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance, and each session will include a moderated questions and answers period to encourage open dialogue and community engagement.
Please note that these National Town Hall meetings will replace this year’s spring/summer regional meetings, offering a more accessible, nationwide forum for information sharing and discussion. Both sessions will cover the same content, allowing participants to choose the date and time that works best for their schedule.
We encourage all stakeholders to attend and learn more about our efforts to shape the future of organ procurement and transplantation.
