The OPTN ad hoc Multi-Organ Transplantation Committee sponsored a webinar on July 20, 2023, to help transplant program staff prepare for pending implementation of simultaneous heart-kidney and lung-kidney transplantation (PDF), and to review “safety net” allocation for kidney-after-heart and kidney-after-lung transplants, which is now in effect.
