340B Educational Resources

HRSA's Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA) is committed to educating and informing 340B Drug Pricing Program stakeholders about the program. Here are some resources available:

OPA's website provides information on all areas of the 340B Program. Resources cover registration and implementation, requirements compliance, program integrity, and more. Educational webinars are posted along with FAQs, monthly program updates, audit results, and manufacturer notices. These are all designed to assist the variety of 340B Program stakeholders.

The 340B Prime Vendor Program, as part of its agreement with HRSA, provides online tutorials, a variety of templates, and other tools to aid with program compliance. In addition, under the terms of the agreement with HRSA, they offer two educational programs and a national call center.

  • 340B University is an in-person educational program designed to help 340B Prime Vendor Program participants and other stakeholders. Educational sessions during these one-day programs include:

  • 340B University OnDemand is an online, self-paced, educational program designed to meet the practical needs of 340B Program participants and other stakeholders. Topics covered include:

340B Peer-to Peer Program Archived Webinars feature individuals from high-performing covered entity sites sharing their experiences. The topics covered in these webinars include:

  • Contract pharmacies

The 340B Peer-to-Peer Program Compliance Improvement Guide (PDF - 653 KB) helps organizations determine their needs through 10 self-assessment tools. Two of the tools help organizations quickly evaluate their cultural readiness to improve compliance, and to identify potential areas of compliance risk.
