Program Update

With the passage of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023 and related rescission of program funds, no further payments will be made to providers under the Provider Relief Fund or the American Rescue Plan Rural Distribution, including no reconsideration payments. Likewise, no additional claims payments will be made under the Uninsured Program or Coverage Assistance Fund. Per the Terms and Conditions of each Program, all reporting and auditing requirements will continue without disruption.

Late reporting for Reporting Period 5

  • The PRF Reporting Portal is open from November 13 to December 2, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. ET for providers who have been approved to submit a late RP5 report. Providers must return unused funds to HRSA within 30 days of submitting a report.
  • Providers who were not approved to submit a report must return funds to HRSA immediately.
  • Visit the Returning Funds webpage for more details and instructions on returning funds to HRSA.

Instructions

HRSA will provide newsletter content that your organization can use to raise awareness about the upcoming Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Reporting Period (RP6) when the period opens on January 1, 2024. Providers who received a PRF or American Rescue Plan (ARP) Rural payment(s), exceeding $10,000 in the aggregate, during the sixth Payment Received Period (July 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022) are required to report in the PRF Reporting Portal on their use of funds.
