In FY 20 HRSA awarded nearly $680,000 for Rural HIV/AIDS Planning Program grants to assist in the development of an integrated rural HIV health network for HIV care and treatment to address key strategies identified in ‘Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE): A Plan for America’. The Rural HIV/AIDS Planning program targeted seven states with a disproportionate number of HIV diagnoses in rural areas and awards were made to four of those seven states.
