RCORP-Rural Centers of Excellence on Substance Use Disorders

The RCORP-Rural Centers of Excellence on Substance Use Disorders work to build the evidence-base to reduce substance use disorder (SUD), including opioid use disorder (OUD), in rural communities.

How do Centers of Excellence work?

They work by identifying, implementing, evaluating, and sharing evidence-based programs and best practices for SUD prevention, treatment, and recovery in rural communities.

Additionally, you can contact the Centers for support on their areas of focus, regardless of where you are located. Resources are, however, more tailored to rural communities.

Who are the Rural Centers of Excellence (RCOEs)?

There are three RCOEs and each has its own focus area.
