In FY 2023, HRSA awarded $12 million for the Delta States Rural Development Network Program (Delta States) grants to eight states to support the development of integrated health care networks to address unmet local healthcare needs and prevalent health disparities such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, acute ischemic stroke, chronic lower respiratory disease, cancer, and unintentional injury/substance use in rural Delta communities.
