Telehealth Center of Excellence

Goal 1: Develop, test, and evaluate telehealth models that contribute to the evidence base and expand access to high-quality health care through telehealth, both nationwide and in rural and underserved communities.Goal 2: Expand access to care and strengthen rural health systems, and health systems in underserved areas, by producing actionable data and sharing evidence-based resources, practical tools, peer-reviewed publications, and policy-relevant findings. These efforts will support telehealth implementation and inform national policy decisions.Goal 3: Each COE must demonstrate national impact by demonstrating how tested telehealth programs improve access to care in rural and underserved areas.

 

Eligibleapplicants include rural or urban nonprofit entities that provide servicesthrough a telehealth network.  Each entity participating in theapplicant's network may be a nonprofit or for-profit entity.  Faith-based,community-based, and tribal organizations are eligible to apply.  Servicesmust be provided to rural areas, although the applicant can be located in anurban area.

 

Currentand former OAT Telehealth Network Grant recipients are eligible to apply forfunds through this announcement but must propose a project that differs insites/services/concept from the previously funded project.
