HRSA is in the process of transitioning functionality in Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) to GrantSolutions, a service that supports the full lifecycle of grant management. This change will help streamline grant management and enhance operational efficiencies across HHS. Please note that the transition has been delayed to ensure a smooth and effective transition for all users. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our systems to better support you. Our priority is to ensure that you have a reliable and user-friendly platform to manage your grants.
Here’s what you need to know:
- No changes for awards already in GrantSolutions
If your award is already in GrantSolutions, it will stay there. - Gradual move for other programs
All other active programs will be transitioned step-by-step starting now and throughout calendar year 2026. You’ll get advance notice before your program moves. - Keep using the EHBs for now
Until your program moves to GrantSolutions, please continue submitting prior approval requests and other grant activities through the EHBs. - New accounts in GrantSolutions
When your program moves, your grant recipient account will be set up in GrantSolutions. - Training and updates
HRSA will provide training and share updates as the transition dates are scheduled.

- Automating the grant funding opportunity process
- Streamlining application review, approval, and award processing
- Risk management services and closeout workflows
