About the program
Goal 1: Maintain health care providers in order to sustain access to essential health care services and prevent avoidable hospital closures for small rural hospitals.
Who can apply
only small hospitals are eligible for funding that meet the following criteria: 1) no more than 50 inpatient beds and 2) wage index value of less than 0.90
