Who can apply: Eligible applicants include the following: State-licensed mental health nonprofit and for-profit organizations (see definition in Section VIII). These organizations must be able to support programs for pre-service or in-service training of paraprofessional child, adolescent and transitional aged youth mental health workers. These training programs can include behavioral health-related paraprofessional occupations such as peer support specialist, peer support counselor, community health worker, outreach worker, behavioral health aide, social services aide, substance abuse/addictions worker, youth worker, and promotor/a (for full list of occupations see the Paraprofessional definition in section VIII). For the purpose of this NOFO, these organizations may include academic institutions, including universities, community colleges and technical schools, which must be accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency, as specified by the U.S. Department of Education. Domestic faith-based and community-based  organizations, tribes, and tribal organizations may apply for these funds, if otherwise eligible. Individuals are not eligible to apply under this NOFO. In addition to the 50 states, eligible entities include the District of Columbia, Guam, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.

Who can apply: Any domestic public or private entity, including an Indian tribe or tribal organization (as those terms are defined at 25 U.S.C. 450b) is eligible to apply. See 42 CFR § 51a.3(a). Domestic faith-based and community-based organizations are also eligible to apply.

Who can apply: In accordance with Sections 831(g) and 831A(f) of PHS Act, eligible applicants include accredited schools of nursing, as defined by section 801(2), health care facilities, or a partnership of such a school and facility. Schools of nursing affiliated with the proposed project must be accredited public or private school. Applicants must provide documentation of current accreditation by a national nurse education accrediting agency or a state agency by the U.S. Department of Education as Attachment 9. Individuals are not eligible to apply. Who can apply: Eligible applicants are accredited schools of nursing, including advanced education nursing programs. Any school(s) of nursing affiliated with this application must be accredited at the time of application – and for the duration of the award – by a recognized body or bodies, or a State agency, approved by the Secretary of Education for nurse education accreditation. Applicants must submit official documentation of accreditation in Attachment 1 for all affiliated nursing programs. Eligible applicants must be located in the United States, Guam, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau. Tribes and Tribal organizations may apply for these funds, if otherwise eligible. Foreign entities are not eligible for this HRSA award. Individuals are not eligible to apply. For continuation (renewal) applicants, your institution’s default rate status will be considered in determining future NFLP award decisions. Continuation applicants that are above the default rate threshold (greater than five (5) percent) will be deemed ineligible for future funding or be subject to additional penalties, up to and including, award termination. Continuation (renewal) applicants must draw down and loan previously awarded funds, and may be deemed ineligible for future funding for failure to draw down funds and make loans to students.

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include state governments and accredited schools of medicine in states and jurisdictions. The term “school of medicine” for the purpose of this funding opportunity (and under 42 U.S.C. 300w-9(c)) has the same meaning as set forth in § 799B(1)(A) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 295p(1)(A)).11 The term “state” for the purpose of this funding opportunity includes, in addition to the several states, only the District of Columbia, Guam, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands

Who can apply: Domestic public or nonprofit private institutions of higher learning may apply for MCH training grants.

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include domestic public, private and nonprofit organizations including domestic faith-based and community organizations, state governments and their agencies such as universities, colleges, research institutions, hospitals, local governments or their bona fide agents. Federally recognized tribal governments, tribes, and tribal organizations are also eligible.

Who can apply: Eligible applicant organizations for the Delta Program must meet geographic requirements. (Note: the award will be made to only one member of the consortium, the applicant organization, which will serve as the recipient of record. Only the applicant organization is required to meet the geographic requirements.) The applicant organization must be a rural nonprofit or rural public entity that represents a consortium of at least three or more health care providers. For the purposes of the Delta Program, a consortium can also be a network (see Appendix A for definition). Your organization must be located in a non-metropolitan county or in a rural census tract of a metropolitan county. All services must be provided in a non-metropolitan county or rural census tract.

Who can apply: The following entities are eligible to apply for the funds described in this notice of funding opportunity: • National Cancer Institute-designated cancer centers; • Department of Veterans’ Affairs hospitals or medical centers; • Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), community health centers, or hospital; HRSA-20-029 3 • Agencies of any State or local government, including any state department of health, that currently provides direct health care services; • IHS health care facilities, including programs provided through tribal contracts, compacts, grants, or cooperative agreements with the IHS and that are determined appropriate to raising the health status of Indians; or • Nonprofit organizations. Additionally, only the entities located in the high-impact states cited in the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (42 U.S.C. 2210 and Public Law 106-245); i.e., Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming are eligible to apply. Individuals eligible for RECA compensation are categorized by the context in which they were placed at risk of exposure to radiation. Those contexts are defined by Sections 4 and 5 of the RECA, codified at 42 U.S.C. § 2210 note (2012) and by DOJ implementing regulations published at 28 C.F.R. Part 79, and in 28 CFR part 794 (see below footnote for more in-depth descriptions and definitions). In general, these categories include: • Uranium miners, • Uranium millers, • Ore transporters; • Downwinders, i.e., those who were physically present downwind of atmospheric nuclear tests, and • Onsite participants, i.e., those who participated onsite in a test involving the atmospheric detonation of a nuclear device.
